Mustang Public Schools Foundation Grants Over $19,000 To Mustang Teachers
(Mustang, Oklahoma – December 14, 2021) – Christmas came early for 23 grant writers within Mustang Public Schools. Just before Mustang began their Winter Break, the MPS Foundation stopped by eleven sites to award 20 grants totaling $19,357.18. Below is a list of the grant winners:

The money for the grants comes from the Mustang Public Schools Foundation, which is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The amount given is based upon how much money is donated to the foundation each year, but on average is about $20,000. The money is raised through fundraising efforts, and generous contributions of business leaders, memorials and the public.
The purpose of The Foundation is to support and enhance the educational experience of the students by helping Mustang Public School’s faculty and staff by performing the following activities:
Awarding Teacher Classroom Grants,
Awarding School Site Grants,
and Awarding a Mustang Memorial Scholarship.
