Centennial Elementary Jumpsters consist of 4th and 5th grade students
 who exhibit:

*Good grades

*Good character traits

*Good jumping and turning skills in the area of jump rope

The Jumpsters originated in 1992 at Mustang Elementary under the direction
of Richard Gleave and Sharrie Langston.  The team consisted of 5th graders
who performed at various functions in  Mustang  and represented the American
Heart Association.  In 1998, Mr. Gleave left to pursue other job opportunities.
Mrs. Langston and her new teaching partner, Carla Buck, continued to carry
on the Mustang Elementary Jumpster tradition from 1998 through 2007 until transferring their program to Mustang Centennial Elementary.  This year they
add to their Jumpster coaching staff, Diana McElroy, one of our third grade teachers at Centennial.  The Mustang Centennial Elementary Jumpsters will perform at various Mustang functions throughout the school year.

The Jr. Jumpsters team has been a dream of Mrs. Langston's for many years.
To showcase many of our student's jumping talents is an extreme honor.
The Jr. Jumpster program consist of students in the 2nd-4th grades exhibiting excellent jump rope skills, good character, and good grades throughout the school year.  These students will practice once a week while developing
their jumping/turning skills in the area of jump rope and perform at a few locations this year.
