Centennial
Elementary
has an awesome student body.
We enjoy
celebrating our students, especially when they
display
good character traits. We honor these
"Kids of Character" at our
monthly Character Education assemblies. We have three
awards
that
students can receive:
This monthly award is given to
students who demonstrate good
character. Each
month has been assigned a
character trait.
One student from each classroom
(grades K-5) is
selected based on who has best displayed the current month's
character trait.
For grades 2nd -5th a confidential class vote
determines
each
month's winner. Kindergarten and 1st
grade winners are
selected by the
classroom teacher. After
all of the winners are chosen, a random drawing
is
held to
select one student to
represent our school at the monthly school
board
meeting, where
they receive a certificate and t-shirt from the
School Board.
